The project enhances City Hall’s aesthetic appeal and supports sustainability through energy-efficient technology.
Urban proudly provided Construction Management/Construction Inspection (CM/CI) services for the City Hall Façade Lighting Project. This project, led by the Center City District (CCD) in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia and supported by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, enhanced the iconic Philadelphia City Hall with modern LED lighting.
Urban provided comprehensive CM/CI services to ensure the project's successful execution. Our Team oversaw the construction process, ensuring all project components were completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The project replaced outdated façade lighting installed in 2004 with energy-efficient LED lighting, offering new color options for holidays and special events. The lighting was installed on the rooftops of 10 adjacent buildings and at the base of the City Hall tower, enhancing the visibility and beauty of this National Historic Landmark.
