With nearly 25 years of transportation industry experience, Dr. Baus has led several complex projects from start to finish. Throughout his career, Dr. Baus has managed several complex construction projects, with sought-out expertise in cost estimating, project controls, and construction management. As Urban’s Estimating Team Leader, he has played a critical role in overseeing multimillion-dollar project estimates, managing single- and multi-prime contracts, and providing technical guidance on major infrastructure projects. His background also includes construction management, project engineering, quality control, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
Dr. Baus holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Pennsylvania College of Technology, a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from Holy Family University. He also holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Construction Manager, Certified Professional Estimator, Claims Consulting Expert, and Envision Sustainability Professional.
