Mr. Roken is the Business Unit Director at Urban.  Mr. Roken brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including many successful roles in engineering, project management, and leadership. He has successfully delivered large-scale transportation projects for prominent agencies, including PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, NJDOT, Amtrak, SEPTA, and the Port Authority of NY and NJ.

In this role, Mr. Roken administers the firm’s management and technical staff, maintains relationships, and participates in delivering Urban’s projects.

A graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Roken holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in seven states. He is also an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) and chairs the Delaware River Port Authority/Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA).

In his community, Mr. Roken serves on the Upper Darby Township Planning Commission and the Board of Directors for the Darby Creek and Muckinipattes Sewer Authorities.
