Time equals money, which makes scheduling a crucial aspect of any project. As the Scheduling Team Leader, Mr. Kuhs, PE, is an expert at combining strategic planning with cost estimation to ensure adjustments positively impact the timeline and budget.
With more than 10 years of AEC experience, including at PennDOT, Mr. Kuhs’ work focuses on preserving, rehabilitating, and replacing structures and roadways. His notable constructability and scheduling projects include the $36 million McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge rehabilitation in Allegheny County, PA, and the $23.8 million Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) initiative located in Robinson Township, PA.
Previously, Mr. Kuhs was the Constructability Review Manager at PennDOT, District 11-0, overseeing the district’s constructability and scheduling needs. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Structure Control Engineer and as a Bridge Designer, specializing in bridge projects for the construction and design units.
Mr. Kuhs earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. He is an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Pittsburgh Section.
