Chris Burke serves as Traffic Department Manager and brings nearly 18 years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning. Throughout his career at Urban, Chris has built a reputation for technical expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering practical, innovative transportation solutions.

Chris specializes in traffic operations, traffic signal design, and advanced traffic modeling. His experience spans a wide range of complex transportation projects, from citywide traffic signal optimization programs to major airport infrastructure improvements. Notable projects include the Comprehensive Citywide Signal Optimization in Stamford, Connecticut; NJDOT's Adaptive Design and Signal Optimization; and Bradley Airport Terminal B and Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) Improvements.

As department manager, Chris leads Urban's traffic engineering team, focusing on strengthening client relationships, supporting staff development, and advancing solutions that improve mobility, safety, and transportation efficiency.

Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, and a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). His technical knowledge, project experience, and leadership help Urban deliver effective transportation solutions that meet clients' and communities' evolving needs.
