Brian McBride, PE
Associate Vice President, Deputy Practice Leader of Construction
BS,Civil Engineering, Penn State University
A word that best describes you

“Dedicated” is the word Brian chooses to describe himself best, and it couldn’t be more accurate. He enjoys challenges, and in his position as deputy practice leader of construction management, he is presented with them daily. Brian also serves our clients as a construction project manager on complex infrastructure projects in the greater Philadelphia area. He is tasked with discovering feasible, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to problems while simultaneously cooperating with all the different parties – owners, designers, project engineers, contractors, the public, and other stakeholders – involved in the construction process. The work is nothing if not satisfying, however, and Brian loves his job best when he is able to solve complex problems. “A good engineer doesn’t always know the answer, but he knows where to find it,” is his professional philosophy.

Brian is an active member of multiple professional societies, including ASCE and ASHE. His dedication has carried him through his career so far, from his first job in residential construction to construction inspection and construction management, and he is now deputy practice leader. Whatever Brian is currently working on, you can rest assured that his level of performance is held to the highest standard of excellence.

A local of the greater Philadelphia area, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. He’s an active member of the Philadelphia community as a sitting board member of the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute.
