As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Sydnes leads the firm's financial strategy, overseeing the annual budget, long-range planning, financial process optimization, and data analytics. With more than 15 years of experience in finance and operations, Mr. Sydnes has a proven track record of translating complex challenges into actionable strategies, driving successful acquisitions, expanding service capabilities, creating new revenue streams, and realigning cost structures to drive sustainable growth.

A forward-thinking financial leader, Mr. Sydnes is known for embracing innovative technology to improve performance and efficiency. He built automated financial and operational systems for previous companies, reducing the time and complexity of data management as well as providing project executives with insight into projects from inception to completion. Prior to joining Urban, he led the proposal and set up of new professional service business units supporting civil construction and electrical installation. Ben continues to partner with finance and technology professionals to fit new machine learning and generative systems into Urban’s portfolio of capabilities.

Mr. Sydnes earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Temple University and an MBA from Drexel University. He has also served his community through the Radnor School District Technology and Finance Committees.
