Andrew Gould, PE, is a dedicated and passionate project manager at Urban who is committed to creating safer, more efficient transportation systems. Inspired by a childhood fascination with construction and problem-solving, Andrew's professional journey led him to earn degrees in civil and architectural engineering. Andrew is a licensed professional engineer in both Pennsylvania and Texas.

Andrew has worked on projects like Portzer Road Roundabout, Reeceville Road Roundabout, Skippack Road Roundabout, Easton Road Roundabout, Castor Avenue Roundabout, U.S. 202 and York Road Roundabout Construction, Belmont Avenue and St. Asaphs Road Roundabout, all of which are PennDOT District 6-0 projects. Andrew is committed to enhancing road safety, especially for non-vehicular road users. As an avid bike commuter, he recognizes the crucial need to improve travel safety for all. This has led to his interest in implementing traffic calming measures and enhancing bike and pedestrian features within different projects. His involvement in designing and constructing roundabouts across Pennsylvania is one of his proudest professional achievements. Despite facing initial challenges in public education from roundabout misconceptions, Andrew says the positive feedback received once these projects are completed and demonstrate increased safety reinforces his belief in the positive impact of his work on the communities he serves. Additionally, his projects have contributed to smoother traffic flow, reduced accident rates, and more accessible roadways for cyclists and pedestrians, further underscoring his commitment to safer and more efficient transportation networks.

Outside of work, Andrew is deeply involved in giving back, particularly through fundraising for March of Dimes, a cause close to his heart. The mission of March of Dimes is to prevent maternal health risks and death, preterm birth, and infant death, and close the health equity gap for all families. Andrew's passion for this cause is based on his personal experiences as a father of premature twins who spent two weeks in NICU.

During his time at Drexel, Andrew helped organize the school's first-ever Relay for Life event, raising funds for cancer research at the American Cancer Society. In the years he attended Drexel, the Relay for Life event raised over $150,000.

When he's not shaping tomorrow's transportation infrastructure, he loves to spend time with his children. Despite having toddler twins, he tries to find time for hobbies such as playing golf, working out, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
