Urban Engineers is pleased to announce that Andy Cushman has rejoined the firm as Director of Business Development and Proposals. In this role, he will be responsible for the firm’s marketing, business development, and strategic efforts.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry, Andy tactically leads and executes communications, marketing, and teaming and project pursuit strategies to achieve bottom-line results. A prolific writer with exceptional editing skills, Andy has an ability to dissect challenges and deliver tailored solutions. He has proven success supporting technical professionals and managing staff with an infectious attitude that spurs collaboration and drives growth.

Andy’s history with Urban dates to 2005, when he was hired as a Marketing Coordinator. He quickly rose through the ranks, ultimately becoming the firm’s youngest Vice President of Corporate Development.

A graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, he holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in communication. Throughout his career, Andy has been actively engaged in industry associations such as ACEC, ASHE, SMPS, and WTS.
