Urban is pleased to announce that Brian Peda, PE, was promoted to deputy practice leader for construction services. He previously served as a construction engineer providing service to the firm’s central Pennsylvania clients.
“Part of Urban’s culture is to promote from within, and Brian is more than deserving of this new role,” said Thomas Davis, an Urban vice president and practice leader for construction services. “He has been a strong advocate for his clients, and has been an excellent construction manager who has displayed growth and leadership throughout his years at our firm.”
Mr. Peda has been with Urban for nearly 10 years and is excited to continue his career path with his new position. He has extensive experience providing construction management and inspection services on a range of projects, including bridge replacement and rehabilitation, roadway rehabilitation, traffic signals, and various projects at airports. In his new role, Mr. Peda will assist in the growth of Urban’s Mechanicsburg office, where his expertise in construction management and client communication will be utilized to win new projects.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his degree in structural design and construction engineering technology, Mr. Peda is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers.
