Urban has partnered with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on the Project Management Oversight (PMO) program for more than 35 years on projects in all 10 Regions, making Urban one of the nation’s foremost expert PMO consulting firms. The firm is pleased to formally announce that Andrew Royston, PE, CCM, will take on the lead role of FTA Program Manager.
In this role, Mr. Royston will continue leading the firm’s nationwide project efforts with a focus on strategic leadership and technical oversight for FTA projects, concentrating on compliance, accountability, risk management, and the successful delivery of complex capital programs. Mr. Royston has nearly 20 years of rail and transit experience with more than a decade dedicated to FTA PMO assignments. He has successfully managed multi-billion-dollar, federally funded infrastructure programs, including mega projects from Boston to Los Angeles.
