Urban Engineers recently teamed up with Temple University's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Student Chapters for an engaging networking event. The event aimed to inspire and educate the next generation of engineers by giving students valuable insights from seasoned professionals at Urban.

The event started with a welcome from Ken Fulmer, PE, President and CEO of Urban, setting the stage for a Q&A panel discussion about Urban's different practices. The Urban team, comprising experts from diverse departments such as engineers, regional managers, practice leaders, project managers, inspectors, and subject matter experts, volunteered to answer questions and shed light on the impactful work of their departments.

In the second half of the event, students had the chance to network and take an insightful tour of Urban's office space. The turnout was fantastic, with nearly 30 students in attendance and 19 Urban representatives spanning the executive team and various practices. Surpassing the initially planned one-hour duration, the event lasted almost 2 hours, showcasing the enthusiasm and engagement of all participants.

Looking ahead, Urban is excited about hosting similar events in the future, fostering connections and knowledge-sharing between emerging talent and experienced professionals.
