Urban is pleased to announce that Metro Philadelphia has named the firm the Best Engineering business in the city for the second year in a row as a part of the publication’s Philly’s Best competition. After being nominated, Urban was named winner in its category after votes cast by readers.
“It is an honor to again be named the best business in the engineering category by Metro Philadelphia readers,” said Jennifer Waters, PE, LEED AP, an Urban vice president and Philadelphia regional manager. “We are proud to work with clients in this city to enhance our streets, airports, waterways, transit, and skyline, and this second recognition is a vindication of our staff’s hard work and dedication to improving Philadelphia.”

Metro Philadelphia is the city’s leading daily newspaper. As a free tabloid, the paper provides access to readers wherever they are from train stations to strategically positioned boxes to high-traffic newsstands. Metro Philadelphia’s Best gave the publication’s readers the power to choose the best businesses in Philadelphia. Although hundreds of businesses were nominated and thousands of readers voted, there is only one first-place winner in each category. The full winners guide can be read by clicking here.
