Urban is excited to announce that Jennifer Waters, PE, LEED AP, Vice President and Eastern Pennsylvania Market Area Leader, has received the 2026 Peter P. Quinn Leadership Award from the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association (GVF).
GVF’s Leadership Awards recognize regional professionals in the transportation industry who are making a difference in improving mobility options for all. The Peter P. Quinn Leadership Award is presented annually to individuals who reflect Quinn’s approach to leadership and his commitment to giving back.
The award is named for Peter P. Quinn, GVF’s founding director, whose career included leadership roles across multiple industries. He was known for supporting initiatives that benefited the broader community, notably through transportation. The award continues to recognize today’s individuals who demonstrate the same commitment.
Ms. Waters has been with Urban for more than 20 years. She is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in six states and has extensive experience across environmental and sustainability disciplines. Her work includes delivering sustainable solutions for complex infrastructure as well as residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and recreational development and redevelopment projects.
Ms. Waters is actively involved in several industry and regional organizations. She currently serves on the board of GVF, The 82 Alliance, and WTS Philadelphia, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Her leadership and contributions to the industry have been recognized with several recent honors, including being named WTS Philadelphia Woman of the Year in 2024 and a City & State PA Trailblazer in Building and Infrastructure.
“We congratulate Jen on this well-deserved recognition,” said Urban’s President and CEO, James A. Bilella, II, PE. “Her passion for improving transportation and building stronger communities embodies what Urban stands for, and this recognition is well deserved.”
