Urban’s Jennifer Waters Joins Board of GVF

Urban is pleased to announce that Jennifer Waters, PE, LEED AP, has been welcomed as a member of the board of Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association (GVF). The organization is a not-for-profit organization – based out of Valley Forge, PA – created to advocate and promote a viable transportation network for the region's economic vitality

 

“As an environmental engineer working in the transportation industry, I am looking forward to being on the GVF board to help improve quality of life, resiliency and equity by focusing on enhanced mobility in our region and beyond,” said Ms. Waters.

 

Ms. Waters has been with Urban for over 20 years and serves as a vice president and office manager for the firm’s Philadelphia and Montgomery County locations. She provides leadership to – and work directly with – general managers in all areas of project management, business development, training, mentoring, and other tasks necessary for the growth of the firm in the region.

 

Ms. Waters is a registered Professional Engineer in six states and has years of diverse environmental and sustainability experience. Her background includes providing sustainable solutions to complex infrastructure, residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and recreational property development / redevelopment projects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental systems engineering from Penn State and her master’s in engineering management from Drexel University. Ms. Waters is currently a board member of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals Philadelphia Chapter and is also co-chair of Urban’s Women’s Professional Network, an organization whose mission is “to provide professional guidance to all women within Urban through mentoring and networking.”
