Urban Engineers' Jen Waters Named WTS Philadelphia Woman of the Year

Urban Engineers is proud to announce that Jen Waters, PE, LEED AP, has been named Woman of the Year by the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Philadelphia Chapter. This award honors an individual who identifies as a woman, who is an outstanding role model, and who has contributed to the advancement of women and minorities in transportation.

 

Jen's recognition highlights her significant technical and diversity, equity, and inclusion contributions to the transportation industry. As a seasoned professional engineer (PE) registered in six states, Jen has 25 years of experience in environmental and sustainability projects. In addition to her technical accomplishments, Jen is committed to advocating for women and promoting diversity within the industry. She actively supports and empowers the next generation of leaders through mentorship and leading initiatives such as Urban's Women's Professional Network and the WTS Philadelphia Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) Committee.
