Urban Engineers is pleased to announce that the student winners of the Delaware Engineering Society’s Annual Engineers’ Week Scholarships will receive supplemental scholarships provided by the firm. The scholarships were awarded at the Annual Engineers Week Banquet at the Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark.
“Our giving philosophy is to support the educational aspirations of young people looking to enter STEM and A/E/C fields,” said Kenneth R. Fulmer, the president and CEO of Urban Engineers. “We are proud to be supporting the promising students recognized this year by the Delaware Engineering Society.”
The Delaware Engineering Society’s scholarship program is for Delaware high school seniors who plan to enroll in a college engineering program. Applicants must be Delaware residents or graduating high school seniors from a Delaware school. The application discusses additional essay and transcript requirements. The two awardees split a one-time $4,000 scholarship from the society, and the $500 supplement from Urban Engineers.
