Mr. Ditri, PE, has more than 18 years of experience in construction engineering and management within the heavy highway and transportation industry. Mr. Ditri was honored as one of the 2017 GVF Top TDM Professionals Under 40 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for CMAA-Mid-Atlantic.
As the Department Manager for Construction Services, Mr. Ditri oversees constructability, value engineering, estimating, and scheduling practices at Urban. Mr. Ditri is responsible for performing numerous constructability reviews and value engineering assignments for projects of varying scope throughout the design phase. He has worked closely with key clients, including the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Delaware River Port Authority (DRPC), New Jersey Department of Transportation (New Jersey DOT), Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the City of Philadelphia, Streets Department on major assignments, including the $2 billion I-95 Corridor Reconstruction Program.
Currently, Mr. Ditri is supporting the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) on the Trolley Modernization Program, serving as constructability task leader on the multi-billion-dollar initiative to upgrade the trolley network. He has delivered value engineering (VE) review workshops for various PennDOT districts, CTDOT, and the PA Turnpike. He has developed detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) Pre-bid schedules, provided CPM analysis during construction, and is associated with delay claims and issue resolution. Additionally, Mr. Ditri performs constructability and maintainability training for PennDOT staff and consultants statewide.
Mr. Ditri earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Temple University and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from Drexel University. Mr. Ditri is fluent in Italian, holds numerous field-testing and construction certifications. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
