With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Thomas, PE, serves as a Vice President and the Practice Leader for Urban's Site/Civil group, where he leads a team specializing in site design for various types of projects ranging from commercial and residential to industrial, academic, and parks and green spaces. Mr. Thomas’ specialties include site layout and design, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, utility coordination and relocation, land development design and permitting, construction administration, and more.
Mr. Thomas' work at Urban has allowed him to be part of some of the most exciting development projects in Philadelphia, including the Rail Park, FDR Park Pattison Fields, Rivers Casino, and the William H. Gray III 30th Street Station redevelopment. Mr. Thomas' contributions also extend nationally from the East Coast to the West Coast. His national work includes Amtrak facilities, United States Postal Facilities, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority facilities, and other various development projects throughout the continental US.
A registered Professional Engineer (PE) in over 20 states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Texas, Mr. Thomas is a 2007 graduate of Villanova University.
