Mr. Brennan, PE, LEED AP, serves as Associate Vice President and Practice Leader for Ports and Waterways, where he leads marine engineering strategy, project execution, and client engagement efforts across critical infrastructure initiatives. With more than 18 years of experience as a marine and structural design engineer, Mr. Brennan brings deep technical knowledge and leadership to waterfront infrastructure projects across the country.

 

Mr. Brennan specializes in the design and rehabilitation of reinforced concrete marine structures, including retaining walls, deep foundation systems, and piers. His portfolio includes managing complex, large-scale projects, such as the rehabilitation of PSA Penn Terminals' 1,200-foot-long wharf along the Delaware River in Eddystone, PA, and a major marine-to-rail bulk material-handling expansion project for a private client in North Carolina. He is also currently leading high-profile initiatives, including the $7.5 million Floating Water Workshop and the $6 million FloatLab Project on Philadelphia’s Schuylkill River.

 

Throughout his tenure at Urban, Mr. Brennan has overseen the full lifecycle of projects, from conceptual design to final review, and has served as a trusted technical representative for clients. His ability to manage both new and aging infrastructure challenges, including dive inspections and multidisciplinary port expansions, reflects his versatile skill set and commitment to excellence.

 

Mr. Brennan is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in eight states and one Canadian province, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
