Patrick Williams serves as an associate vice president and Urban’s southwest regional leader. He is responsible for growing the firm’s success in each of the firm’s market and service lines in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. A 2004 graduate of Drexel University, his college proudly named him among the esteemed Top 40 Under 40 Professionals from the countless alumni around the world. He was also a recipient of the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top Professionals 20 Under 40 recognition for the Texas and Louisiana Region. After this honor, the publication continued in the evaluation of Patrick’s qualifications and also named him the coveted ENR Top Professionals 20 Under 40 for the entire nation.
Patrick continues to be a multi-faceted leader in the markets and services that Urban offers to our clients such as design and management of integral projects in aviation for Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and the Dallas Airport System; rail and transit for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Trinity Metro, Cap Metro, and Rock Region Metro; surface transportation for the City of Dallas and TxDOT; and numerous past and ongoing successful infrastructure developments. He ensures that the engineering, program management, and construction management and inspection services are performed by his staff with quality and closeout within or under budget.
Patrick has been on the board of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Dallas Branch for four years; and is currently serving as membership chair for the ASCE Texas Section. He continues to serve his community by leading various 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations throughout the “Lone Star State,” he serves as a mentor for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) student program while maintaining close relationships with his mentees, and has a strong focus as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) to apply sustainability in the projects on which he manages and the community in which he serves.
