Daniel Comorre, PE, serves as a senior project manager in Urban's project management oversight department in Los Angeles. He joined the firm with more than 30 years of experience working for large transit agencies.

Dan previously worked as the deputy executive officer for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He also spent time as a senior civil engineer for the City of Los Angeles’s Bureau of Engineering. Some of his notable programs, projects, and roles include the Wastewater Program and Bridge Program Management; Project Management for Westside Purple Line Extension Sections 2 & 3 Projects and Regional Connector Transit Project; and advanced planning for the Northeast Interceptor Sewer Phase 2 & Glendale Burbank Interceptor Sewer.

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California State University at Los Angeles. His expertise includes public improvements – including streets, sewers, storm drains, bridges, and air treatment facilities – as well as complete project management – including advance planning, predesign, design, specs and contract document preparation, procurement, construction management, and project closeout.
