Urban is pleased to announce that it received the “Best in Show” award for the firm’s “Our Watershed” video at the recent SMPS Philadelphia Philly’s Phinest Marketing Communication Awards, which is the top honor of the night. The video – which was produced in partnership with Habithèque – also won first place in its submitted category.
“We are always honored to be recognized by our peers in the industry, and we are more than grateful that our video was named ‘Best in Show,’” said Andrew Chakmakjian, Urban’s director of corporate development. “Our video production team put together an excellent video that will continue to help explain the urban watershed to students for years to come.”
“This video really showcases the depth of our talent” said David D’Alba, Urban’s supervisor of video production. “We were able to do everything in-house, from illustrations and animations to sound design and original score.”
Contracted by the Fairmount Water Works museum, Urban was tasked with producing an interactive video explaining the Delaware River watershed that would create a more thoughtful and modern approach for the museum’s K-12 patrons, keeping in mind that it should also be relevant to non-student visitors (over 30,000 people annually).
