A vice president and director, Eric C. Sailer, PE, leads the firm’s construction services practice in Western New York. In this role, he is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Buffalo office, as well as business development in the western New York region.
Eric has spent more than 20 years managing all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects related to highway and bridge construction and design. Most recently, Mr. Sailer was the office engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation’s Design-Build project for the replacement of I-190 and Route 265 bridges over the New York Power Authority reservoir in the City of Niagara Falls. He has performed management and oversight of both construction inspection and design teams and served in capacities ranging from Project Design Engineer to Resident Engineer. He has successfully served the New York State Department of Transportation, New York State Thruway Authority, Erie County Department of Public Works, and numerous towns among other clients.
A Registered Professional Engineer in New York, he earned his bachelor's in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also has double associate degrees in construction engineering and architectural engineering, which he received from the State University of New York, College of Technology at Alfred. Eric is involved in the American Council of Engineering Companies and the Association of Bridge Construction and Design.
