Thomas Davis

Thomas Davis has extensive experience in transportation construction inspection. A recognized industry leader in Pennsylvania, he has served as an inspector, supervisor, and manager for numerous construction projects involving painting, guiderail, drainage, concrete patching, concrete paving, bituminous paving, bridge deck overlays, new bridge construction, excavation, embankment, traffic control, and highway lighting and signing. His responsibilities have included planning, organizing, and assigning work; keeping field records; monitoring safety procedures; and managing and supervising inspection teams.

 

An Urban vice president and practice leader for construction support services in Pennsylvania, Thomas serves as the project manager for up to 30 construction inspection projects per year, with a construction value of over $150 million. He meets with clients to determine staffing for projects and assigns inspection staff to meet clients’ requests. He monitors daily performance of a staff of 50 construction professionals, coordinates training for inspection staff, reviews T&M logs, tracks project budgets, and reviews project invoices. Thomas visits project sites to perform project audits and to meet with inspectors and client to resolve any issues and to see inspection work is meeting clients’ goals. He will also fill in for staff when needed.
