Laura Frein, CPSM, is the Business Leader for Urban's Marketing and Sales department, overseeing business development, marketing, communications, and proposal preparation. With over 18 years of experience in the consulting engineering field, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her role.

Her expertise includes strategic business development and proposal management. She is proficient in cultivating client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and leading teams to secure complex, high-value projects. With an understanding of aligning Urban's services with client needs, she develops targeted strategies to identify new opportunities.

As a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), Laura has concentrated much of her career on the transportation sector. Her talents have been recognized with multiple industry awards, including the 2021 SMPS Marketing Communication Award of Excellence in the Trade Show Category and a Merit Award in the Project Pursuit - Digital Category.

Laura earned a bachelor's degree from Susquehanna University and a Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University, where she became a Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society member. Additionally, she serves as president of the SMPS Philadelphia Chapter and is an active member of the Montgomery County Transportation Authority board.
