Urban Engineers is pleased to announce that firm President and CEO Kenneth R. Fulmer, PE, has been named to the board of directors of GVF, a not-for-profit organization created to advocate and promote a viable transportation network for southeastern Pennsylvania’s economic vitality.
“It is an honor to join the board of an organization that is a dedicated champion of a viable transportation network that will strengthen the region's economic vitality,” said Mr. Fulmer. “Urban Engineers has been a supporter of GVF since its inception, and I am looking forward to continuing our partnership.”
Mr. Fulmer has served in several leadership capacities, including deputy director of construction services and general manager for transit and passenger rail. In those prior roles, Mr. Fulmer successfully strengthened Urban’s regional presence and expanded the firm’s national profile. Most recently, Mr. Fulmer managed all aspects of the firm’s operations, including serving on the board of directors and leading the firm’s executive committee; aligning resources to support client needs and growth initiatives; overseeing the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic plan; communicating vision; and maintaining the company’s culture.
Mr. Fulmer is a graduate of Drexel University with a master’s degree in engineering management and bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and architectural engineering. Mr. Fulmer is a professional engineer in five states, including Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
