Aaron Barnes, PE - Mechanicsburg, PA
Aaron Barnes has managed and worked in close coordination with project teams to make complex construction assignments successful throughout his 20 years at Urban. He is a registered Professional Engineer in three states and is experienced in all aspects of heavy highway and bridge structure construction and rehabilitation projects. His willingness to share his expertise and confident professional approach is embraced by clients, having worked on successful projects for owners such as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, New Jersey Department of Transportation and Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. Mr. Barnes is a graduate of Lehigh University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
James Davis - Philadelphia, PA
James Davis has a proven track record of working on successful construction inspection projects over his more than 30-year tenure with Urban. He possesses a vast array of construction knowledge gained from his experience in the industry. His abilities range from supervising bridge structure rehabilitation and bituminous and concrete paving work, to soils and bridge approach improvements. Mr. Davis has performed soil, asphalt, and concrete testing and analysis, both on location and in the laboratory. He has a proven track record of providing leadership and quality customer service to Urban’s clients, and is a strong asset to the firm.
Korin Giles, MS, CESCO, CWMP - Erie, PA
Korin Giles has more than 30 years of experience and leads the Urban’s Environmental Practice in Erie, PA. She is responsible for the supervision and quality control of a wide variety of environmental projects and provides industrial employee training and compliance consulting services. Ms. Giles has been certified by the Registrar Accreditation Board as an Environmental Auditor, and assists clients in developing, implementing, and auditing Environmental Management Systems. She is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry to provide asbestos and hazmat building inspections and management plans. She has been certified by the National Registry of Environmental Professionals as both a Waste Management Professional and an Environmental Safety and Compliance Officer. Ms. Giles has also been certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection as a Host Municipality Landfill Inspector. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in environmental health, safety, and engineering from Gannon University.
Eric Sailer, PE - Buffalo, NY
Eric Sailer has spent more than 20 years managing all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects related to highway and bridge construction and design. He leads Urban’s construction services practice in Western New York and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Buffalo office, as well as business development. He has successfully served the New York State Department of Transportation, New York State Thruway Authority, Erie County Department of Public Works, and numerous towns, among other clients. A registered Professional Engineer in New York, he earned his bachelor's in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also has double associate degrees in construction engineering and architectural engineering, which he received from the State University of New York, College of Technology at Alfred.
Keith Shuster, PSP - Philadelphia, PA
Keith Shuster’s 32 years’ of experience with Urban Engineers in the construction industry has enabled the firm to become a leader in the Delaware Valley tri-state region in providing scheduling support services to bring major infrastructure projects to successful completion. Mr. Shuster obtained his degree in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Mr. Shuster’s new position will enable Urban to leverage his knowledge to diversify and expand services to a wider range of clientele and projects.
Rob Snowden, PE, Esq. - New Castle, DE, and Baltimore, MD
Robert Snowden has led Urban’s Construction Services practice in Maryland and Delaware for the past 11 years, and his new position will allow for its expansion. A registered Professional Engineer in five states and attorney admitted to practice law in four states, he has helped Urban win work and managed multiple construction management and inspection agreements with Maryland Transportation Authority, Maryland State Highway Administration, and the Delaware Department of Transportation. He also has assisted with Urban’s national consulting practice in construction claims consulting, including the Maryland Transit Administration. Over his 23 years at Urban, Mr. Snowden has worked on notable projects like the construction of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s I-476 and the Delaware River Port Authority’s Walt Whitman Bridge and Expressway reconstruction. He earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctor from Widener University.
Brian TerBush, PE, MBA - New York, NY
Brian TerBush has more than 30 years of experience as a senior project manager, quality manager, and construction manager, and is currently successfully leading Urban’s construction management efforts at LaGuardia Airport. He specializes in Total Quality Management and the development of quality and environmental, health, and safety management systems in accordance with industry standards. His experience includes project and program management; product qualification; program development; strategic planning; auditing; product testing/inspection; special inspections; and training. A licensed professional engineer in New York, Mr. TerBush earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and civil engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration, from Adelphi University.
