A Vice President and Office Manager, Paul F. Parker, PE, oversees the strategic initiatives, quality assurance, and operations of the Western New York offices. For the past 10 years, Paul has also served as Director of Construction Services in the Buffalo Office. 

 

Paul has over 40 years of experience in design, highway/bridge construction, and architectural construction and specializes in resolving disputes and mitigating construction problems. Paul also draws from his past experience, having worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for more than 24 years in positions ranging from Junior Engineer to Engineer-in-Charge for construction and design. Additionally, for 10 years, he worked for the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) as a Construction Supervisor-in-Charge of projects ranging from $2.5 million to $65 million.

 

When not in the office, Paul focuses on being a great father, grandfather and passing on his great work ethic. He also enjoys sailing his Hobie Cat, fishing and swimming along the shores of Lake Erie.

 

A Registered Professional Engineer in New York and Pennsylvania, Paul earned his master’s in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Tri-State University and his associate’s in civil engineering from Erie Community College. He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), New York State Association of Transportation Engineers (NYSATE), Fair Appointment of Infrastructure Revenue (FAIR), American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
