Urban Engineers of New York, D.P.C., is pleased to announce it was named one of the 2020 Best Companies to Work for in New York State. The firm was ranked #9 in the large-sized company category and was one of the top New York engineering firms that qualified for the program. The awards were distributed at the organization’s virtual award ceremony. This was the ninth year in a row that Urban was named to the list.

The awards program is a partnership between the New York State Society for Human Resource Management, the Business Council of New York, Best Companies Group and Journal Multimedia Corporation. Created in 2007, this annual program evaluates and ranks the best places of employment in the State based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. It is unique because employees’ survey responses count for 75% of the ranking formula.
