As a senior vice president and COO of Urban, Mark A. Kinnee, PE, is responsible for all ongoing operational functions of the firm. He works closely with Urban’s regional managers to support their business development efforts throughout the country.

Since joining Urban in 1991, Mark has gained extensive experience in the design and management of transportation projects for a diverse range of clients. He has held several leadership positions throughout his career with the company in the transportation design practice areas and as an office manager.

Mark’s passion outside of work is spending time with his family, his wife, and two daughters. He enjoys traveling to Hawaii where his oldest daughter is serving in the U.S. Army, having completed the ROTC program in college.  

A Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York, Mark is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies and American Society of Highway Engineers, where he has also served on the organization’s board of directors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Villanova University.
