A Senior Vice President, General Manager, and associate of the firm, Andrew J. Scott, PE, LEED AP, leads the firm’s special initiatives which includes identifying project opportunities that involve multiple business lines and developing more effective means of achieving project performance.

With over 43 years in the industry, Drew has progressive experience serving in a variety of roles associated with the successful undertaking of numerous multidisciplinary building, transit, and roadway projects, including the design of such recent projects as Ardmore Transit Center in Lower Merion, PA, and the renovations of Dilworth Plaza in Philadelphia, PA. During his tenure as General Manager for Facilities design, the firm expanded its services in the vertical construction market, taking on the design of projects such as the expansion of the Franklin Institute and the Curtis Institute of Music, the development of the first phase of Reading Viaduct as a park, marine infrastructure for the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority and Port of Paulsboro, and providing engineering services for a wide area of building projects for the Norfolk Southern Railroad across the eastern United States.


When he is not working on projects that help improve the built environment, he enjoys time at a vacation home in the Poconos, which offers a lot of opportunities for diversions during the summer. He is close to being the oldest softball player on the diamond on Saturday mornings, is still learning to fly fish, and actively participates in the community’s Trails Committee.


A Professional Engineer registered in nine states, Drew is Chairman of Committee 12 – Rail Transit for the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He holds a Management Development Certificate from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary.
