Urban Engineers’ (Urban) New York City and Philadelphia offices have been working in partnership with Santa to make the holiday season brighter for area children and families.

For the past month, these offices have been collecting toys for Santa to deliver to those who cannot afford holiday meals and toys. Donations from the NYC office were recently collected by Fire Department City of New York (FDNY) Ladder Company One members. They, along with Santa, will be bringing the gifts to children of NY Foundling Hospital, one of NYC’s oldest and largest child welfare agencies. Gifts collected as part of the Philadelphia office’s holiday drive will be donated to the Joy of Sharing program, sponsored by Philadelphia’s CBS 3 and affiliates. Joy of Sharing benefits children served by The Salvation Army.

After the holidays, Urban will also be collecting used holiday cards to donate to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. If you would like to donate your cards, they can not be Hallmark, Disney, or American Greetings cards.
