Urban Engineers of New York, D.P.C. has been ranked No. 4 among the 50 Best Companies to Work for in New York State for 2011. Ranked in the large company category (250+ employees), Urban moved up from No. 9 in 2010.

The program is a partnership between the New York State Society for Human Resource Management, the Business Council of New York, and Best Companies Group, an independent company that manages Best Places to Work programs on state, regional, and national levels around the country.

Rankings came as a result of survey conducted by the Best Companies Group to evaluate and rank the best places of employment in New York based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies.

Urban was the only engineering firm to be ranked in the top 10 for two years in a row.
