The Engineering News Records (ENR) annual ranking of the Top 500 Engineering Design Firms shows (Philadelphia-based) Urban Engineers climbing 10 places from 271 in 2010 to 261 in 2011.
While ENR reported that overall revenues for the Top 500 declined from 2009 and 2008 levels, Urban was able to buck the trend.
According to Urban’s President, Edward M. D’Alba, PE, “Urban was one of many firms supported by revenue from stimulus money. We were the ‘go to’ firm for small and large assignments from our long-term clients, sometimes alone, but often in the company of some great teaming partners.”
