Urban Engineers Announces Human Resources Promotions

Urban is pleased to announce that Annie Townson was promoted to human resources manager and Kristin Rusinko was promoted to senior benefits/operations analyst.

She has provided top-notch service to the employees of Urban and we are delighted to reward her hard work and commitment with a well-deserved promotion to human resources manager,” said Urban Vice President and Director of Human Resources Meredith Clark. “Kristin’s attention to detail, focus on the task at hand, and commitment is remarkable. Urban’s employees and the human resources department have benefitted from her hard work and dedication for many years, and I am excited to promote her to a senior benefits/operations analyst.”

 

In her role as human resources manager, Ms. Townson will oversee the daily operations of the human resources department, effectively managing all activities associated with talent acquisition, onboarding, policy compliance, employee relations, and employee retention. She will also partner with the firm’s management team to provide support related to the organization’s strategic initiatives and approach to its people. Ms. Townson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management from Temple University. She has also completed a certificate in professional human resource management from Villanova University. Ms. Townson joined Urban in 2008.

 

Ms. Rusinko will be responsible for partnering with the firm’s benefits broker on benefit analysis, benchmarking, compliance, plan implementation and overall plan administration. She will continue her efforts in performance management, daily HR operations, HRIS system maintenance, and assume more involvement in compensation. Ms. Rusinko earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and risk management and insurance from Temple University. She is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and also completed a certificate in professional human resource management from Villanova University. Ms. Rusinko joined Urban in 2012.
