The Philadelphia Engineering Foundation, the charitable arm of the Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia, elected two members of Urban Engineers (Urban) to the board for a one-year term: Carol Martsolf, PE, LEED® AP, Manager of Training, to the position of president-elect; and Robert Wright, PE, VP of Streetscape and Municipal Engineering, to assistant secretary/treasurer.

The Foundation was established in 1967 to promote knowledge, education, and training in the science and profession of engineering. As board members, Martsolf and Wright strive to get engineering college students the funds they need for their education. During their tenure, the Foundation has awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships.
