Urban is pleased to announce that the Oscar Bustos, PE, has been elected to the board of directors of the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) New York-New Jersey chapter. Mr. Bustos will serve in the capacity of membership co-chair.
“It is a privilege to support the local chapter of this important national organization that is dedicated to professionals working in construction management,” said Mr. Bustos. “I look forward to continuing CMAA’s mission and representing the views of others in the construction support industry.”
Mr. Bustos is a project manager at Urban with more than 19 years of experience in project and construction management. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New York and his experience includes a large variety of diverse design and construction inspection projects, encompassing buildings and facilities, street reconstruction, waterfront construction, and parks recreation facilities. His recent clients include the New York City Department of Transportation, the New York City Department of Design and Construction, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Bustos is experienced working on multidisciplinary projects, including MEP, civil, structural, and architectural projects.
The mission of CMAA is to promote the profession of construction management and the use of qualified construction managers on capital projects and programs. The vision of CMAA is that all owners will realize capital project and program success by using professionally qualified construction managers.
