 Michael Wagner, PE, has been promoted to Practice Leader of the Ports & Waterways Department. In this position, he will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operation of the department. He is located in Urban’s Philadelphia, PA office.

 

Wagner joined Urban in 2001 and has gained increasing responsibilities with the Bridge and Ports & Waterways Departments. A registered Professional Engineer in four states, he specializes in structural design of marine facilities, bridges, highways, and building systems.

 

Wagner is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has been President of the Younger Members Forum of American Society of Civil Engineers, Philadelphia Section, and was elected by the organization as its 2011 Young Engineer of the Year. He is also a member of the Engineers Club of Philadelphia and American Institute of Steel Construction. He earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from Drexel University and bachelor’s from the University of Hartford, as well as certificates from Dale Carnegie and the Urban Training Institute for Project Management Training.
