 Urban Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of John DiValentino, Jr., PE, LEED®AP, to Deputy Director for the firm’s Facilities Construction Management Division.  For the past 12 years, he has served as a traffic engineer, resident engineer, and project manager in Urban’s Traffic and Construction Management Divisions. In this new role, he will oversee the firm’s facility construction management initiatives and business development.

 

A Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, DiValentino has demonstrated his leadership abilities in such projects as US Airways’ award winning, $22 million, 57,220-SF, LEED Silver Ground-Service Equipment Maintenance facility at the PhiladelphiaInternationalAirport and Amtrak’s $30 million WestPlaza and Parking Deck Renovations at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

 

DiValentino earned his masters in business administration from TempleUniversity and bachelors in mechanical engineering from The College of New Jersey. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Construction Management Association of America, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
