 Christopher Gubeno, PE, has been promoted to Director of Urban Engineers’ Airports and Land Development DivisionsIn this new role, he will be responsible for overseeing airport planning and engineering services while also managing the firm’s civil, site, and land development services.

 

A registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, Mr. Gubeno has more than 20 years of diverse professional experience in engineering design and construction for a broad range of public and private clients. He has demonstrated his expertise in airport planning and engineering with successful projects at Philadelphia International, Dulles International, Aberdeen Proving Ground, and Ronald Reagan Washingon National. He currently serves as Urban’s Project Manager of the design for Bradley International Airport’s Terminal B, The Franklin Institute’s new LEED Silver Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion, and the 153,000-SF Liberty Property Tower, located at 800 Walnut Street in Philadelphia.

 

Mr. Gubeno earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in systems science and engineering.  He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
