This 11-story luxury condominium building, totaling 44,000 SF, is located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City neighborhood. It offers specialized heating and air conditioning systems in each unit, and units feature 12 to 17-foot-tall ceilings and two balconies.
Urban designed the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Hot water boilers supply water for baseboard radiation along the perimeter of each apartment, and individual ducted air handlers provide cooling. The air handlers are water-cooled, self-contained units connected to an air-cooled condenser on the roof.
