A Vice President and Director, Amanda R. C. Schumacher, leads the firm’s Corporate Development Department nationwide. Within this role, she is involved with business development and oversees the firm's award-winning corporate development department, which includes all of the firm’s proposal, collateral, and marketing initiatives, as well as Urban Video Productions, the firm’s in-house videography team. She actively engages with the nationwide offices to develop effective communications strategies and quality campaigns along with generating collateral material to aid in key project wins while remaining at the forefront of the industry trends.


She is a driven professional and is accomplished in all facets of marketing, having a strong track record of achieving growth and visibility on all marketing endeavors undertaken throughout her career. Contributions include the collaboration of successful brand and positioning on a national scale, effective internal communications practices, development of key marketing policies/procedures and the award of numerous projects.


Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family - her husband, son, two dogs and a cat - whether that’s going to concerts in her hometown amphitheater, dining in their favorite restaurant, or enjoying a glass of red wine on their patio. She also enjoys sports and wishes she could find the time to continue to play rugby like she did back in college. In the meantime, volleyball leagues and finding time to get a workout in keep her busy.


Amanda earned her bachelor’s in marketing from LaSalle University and also earned her certification in Construction Management from NJIT. She is the national public relations chair for the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), as well as past president of ASHE’s East Penn section. Amanda currently sits on the section's board. She is also a member of several additional organizations including Women on Walnut, WTS, SMPS, and ACEC.
