Urban is pleased to announce that Joshua Gray, PE, has earned the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). Mr. Gray serves in the construction services division in the firm’s Hartford office.
“It is an honor to receive this credential from a great organization like CMAA,” said Mr. Gray. “The additional knowledge and professional credibility this qualification gives me will help enhance the quality of service myself and my firm will be able to provide for our clients.”
Mr. Gray’s 13 years of experience encompasses the full spectrum of transportation infrastructure projects from planning through construction. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and California. His skill set includes construction inspection, project management and design services for multiple federal, state and municipal agencies. A confident communicator and skilled engineer, he performs at a high level in all environments and positions. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering.
According to CMAA, a CCM credential is the “gold standard” in the construction management industry, and recognizes practitioners who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in managing all phases of capital construction. The goal of this certification guides effective professional development and career progress. Recipients of the CCM are said to assure project and program success.
