Urban Engineers (Urban) has presented Jennifer Pesch, PE, LEED® AP, with its Professional Achievement Award. The award recognizes her significant contributions to the engineering industry.
Jennifer, an environmental engineer with over a decade of diverse professional experience in the field of engineering, currently serves as Vice President of the Society of Women Engineers, Philadelphia Section. In this role, Jennifer develops and coordinates programs that encourage students of all ages to explore engineering careers, and oversees the effort to provide scholarships to women majoring in engineering or science at local schools. Since 2007, Jen has been co-chair of the Urban Women’s Professional Network, an organization whose mission is “to provide professional guidance to all women within Urban through mentoring and networking.”

Urban’s Employee Recognition Awards are presented semiannually. Additional Employee Recognition Awards are for Outstanding Performance, Professional Achievement, and Outstanding Suggestion. Award recipients are determined by nominations from colleagues and an internal committee.
