More than 80 people gathered at Urban Engineers’ Philadelphia Headquarters for the announcement of this year’s March of Dimes Transportation, Building, and Construction award recipients.
The individuals honored were Nicholas DeBenedictis, Chairman and CEO Aqua America; Pennsylvania Congressman Robert Brady; and Daniel Kubik, Business Representative Local 542, Operating Engineers.
The Projects of the Year were Drexel University’s Constantine Papadakis Integrated Science Building and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority’s projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Acts.
Award recipients will be honored at the March of Dimes 20th Annual Transportation Building, and Construction Luncheon in March. Among those in attendance were representatives from the March of Dimes, Drexel University, SEPTA, Aqua America, Inc., and many others from the transportation, building, and construction community.
