 Urban Engineers welcomes John Conroy as vice president, to lead the firm’s Energy and Marcellus Shale Division. Mr. Conroy brings more than 30 years of diverse experience in the environmental, energy and Marcellus Shale industries to this position.

 

Mr. Conroy’s expertise in these industries includes preparing environmental studies, reports and documents; wetlands; environmental clearances and wetland I&D reports; environmental assessments; parks, recreation, trails, and greenways; field surveys; and producing NEPA documents. He earned his bachelor’s degree in planning from Pennsylvania State University and his master’s degree in environmental resources from Slippery Rock University.

 

A member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, Mr. Conroy serves on the Environmental Regulations Committee. He is also a member of the Consulting Engineers Council of Pennsylvania, State Association of Wetland Managers and National Society of Wetland Scientists, Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society, Pennsylvania Alliance of Environmental Professionals, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
