The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation awarded Urban a resident engineering task for the emergency clean-up and repair of park facilities damaged by Superstorm Sandy.

The $1.8 million project involves the Shore Road bikeway and adjacent pedestrian path located between 92nd Street and Bay Parkway in the Brooklyn.

“Helping rebuild New York City after one of the most catastrophic natural disasters in the region is a significant responsibility for Urban and we are honored to be selected,” an Urban construction manager said. “We are thrilled to help Brooklyn return to normal and thankful for this significant opportunity from one of our existing clients.”

The estimated duration of this project is six months.
